Mendoza College of Business
Walter Clements is a Teaching Professor of Finance for Mendoza Business programs at the University of Notre Dame since 2012. He served as Associate Dean, Executive Education, on various curriculum committees, as President of an Industry Marketing Association, and as Board Director for BP Midstream Partners. He enjoys helping people develop to realize their aspirations, and inventors get their ideas to market.
Walt held leadership positions with BP plc prior to teaching, most recently running businesses with more than $40 billion of revenue in Europe. He served as CEO and Chairman of Aral AG in Germany, and Managing Director for firms in Germany, Spain, Luxembourg and Austria. He led BP’s global retail strategy and new brand development, and served as Board Treasurer and Chairman for two International College Prep Schools.
