Vijay Sharma

Currently working as Associate Professor (Tenured) at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore and Senior Consultant in the division of Neurology at National University Hospital, Singapore. I am a current recipient of the prestigious Clinician Scientist Award (Senior Investigator) from National Medical Research Council, Ministry of Health, Singapore.

I have authored/co-authored about 380 peer-reviewed scientific papers and 45 book chapters. In addition, I have edited/co-edited 3 books.

I serve as International advisor to Indian Stroke Association. I am Co-chair for World Stroke Organization (WSO)'s oversight committee for International Journal of stroke. I was recently appointed as Regional Advisor to the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, UK.
