Biography

Vanessa Strauss-Kahn is a Professor of Economics at ESCP Europe since September 2008. She received a Ph.D. in Economics from New York University and has been faculty member at INSEAD for 7 years. Recently, she worked at The American University of Paris (AUP) as Associate Dean of the Graduate Business School and Associate Professor of Economics and Finance. She has also worked for the World Bank in Washington, D.C., the Inter American Development Bank, as well as for the United Nations Development Program on specific missions. 

She taught microeconomics, managerial economics and several topics related to international trade, globalization and regulation to MBA and Executive students at INSEAD, Baruch College International Programs (Singapore and Paris) and AUP.
