Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management

Tom Dechaene is an executive board member of the National Bank of Belgium, responsible for bank supervision and for financial controlling and reporting. He also sits on the Supervisory Board of the European Central Bank. Previously he was a banker with (today’s) ING in Brussels, Morgan Grenfell and Deutsche Bank in London and a non-executive board member with KBC Group in Brussels. Tom Dechaene also teaches banking at the Université Catholique de Louvain and the Solvay School in Brussels.
