Boston University

Dr. Farchione’s research interests are focused on the psychological factors associated with the development of anxiety and mood disorders. In particular, he is interested in the development of more effective treatments for these disorders and is currently working with Dr. David Barlow investigating a new unified transdiagostic treatment for anxiety and mood disorders. In addition, Dr. Farchione directs the Intensive Treatment Program for Panic Disorder and Specific Phobias.

Dr. Farchione is slated to appear on an upcoming PBS NOVA special on emotional disorders and has been quoted in the Hartford Courant, New England Psychologist, Psychiatric Times, MyFoxDC,Boston.com, BUNow.
