Mr. Tim Cochran has been utilizing over 30 years of leadership, quality assurance and program/project management experience as the Director of Operations for Magpie Enterprises Inc. since June 2010. Prior to assuming this position, he completed a stellar 26-year career as an Officer in the United States Navy, where he served on both submarines and surface ships around the globe. As an enlisted man, he completed a tour as Chief of the Boat (COB). As an Officer he completed tours as Chief Engineer on two platforms, served as Executive Officer of a floating dry-dock and was selected for command. He is authorized to wear both the submarine warfare and surface officer warfare pins. Mr. Cochran has a broad base of experience in both government and civilian contracting and has been the Program Manager for numerous multimillion dollar projects.

Additionally, Mr. Cochran served for over 8 years in the civil service for the Naval Air Warfare Command as the submarine training technical advisor and on-site agent for NAVSEA at Naval Submarine School, New London. Mr. Cochran has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Excelsior College, a Master of Science in Computer Science/Information Technology from Touro University and is finishing his dissertation for his Doctoral Degree in Government Policy/Public Administration from Capella University.
