Biography

USC Marshall School of Business

Tim has cobbled together a most unique 25 year career in organizational and leadership development. Tim has had the privilege of leveraging his talents as coach, facilitator and consultant to support over 40 of the Fortune 100 in helping them accelerate their strategy execution. Tim sees the new millennium as a critical time for practitioners of OD. “OD and leadership development are at an inflection point as the workplace evolves from the legacy of the hierarchy to the era of the agile wirearchy. Now more than ever organizations are reliant upon exceptional leaders for organizational success.” Armed with this spirit and vision, Tim has assisted multiple organizations across multiple industries (automotive, pharmaceutical, FMCG, retail, mining, insurance, and others) to explore alternatives to legacy performance management approaches. “Traditional performance management, with its annual cadence, is insufficient in meeting the needs of today’s managers and leaders and the constantly changing VUCA environment.” Tim is excited by the work he has accomplished with clients, in creating talent management methodologies that have impact and better match the cadence of today’s business environment. Tim began his career in education and counseling. He then discovered the field of adult, experiential learning which led him to become a practitioner of OD. Tim has held senior executive leadership roles with P&L responsibility in organizations such as Kinko’s, before turning to the consultant world. Tim has managed and led teams, including at one point oversight of a matrixed and virtual training organization of over 350 training professionals. In his consultant career of over 11 years, Tim was responsible for building and growing a global leadership and management practice area for BTS. Starting domestically, Tim oversaw a global growth strategy. Under his leadership, the practice area experienced consistent year over revenue growth and BTS brand expansion. Tim has a Bachelors of Science in Education. He has done graduate work in Organizational Psychology, and Organizational Development. He holds certifications in assessment, Emotional Intelligence, Leadership Development and Coaching.
