Jones Graduate School of Business

Tiffany Champagne-Langabeer is an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Informatics and Healthcare Management at the University of Texas Health Science Center’s School of Biomedical Informatics in Houston. She received her PhD in Public Health with a focus on informatics and policy from the University of Texas School of Public Health. She has written and published on topics relevant to current health technologies such as health information exchange and telehealth, as well as, collaborations in healthcare organizations. She has published in leading journals such as Quality Management in Healthcare and the Journal of Telemedicine and Telecare.

Prior to joining UTHSC in 2015, Dr. Champagne-Langabeer was the founding Vice President of the regional health information exchange for SE Texas, Healthconnect. At the Jones School, Dr. Champagne-Langabeer leads Strategic Considerations in Information Technology, where she challenges her students not to be informaticians, but to create strong teams and understand the others’ terminology and discipline.

Champagne-Langabeer also holds an MBA in Finance, a BS in Nutrition, and is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian.
