Thierry Kieffer

Thierry Kieffer has more than 20 years experience in the high-tech industry, working successively for Philips, NXP Semiconductors and more recently for ST-Ericsson in various operational, and leadership positions as Project Manager, Industrial Manager and Global Head of Quality. Serving for global organizations he gained extensive experience in managing international operations, especially in cooperating with suppliers and customers located in Far-East countries.

In addition to lecturing in Operations Management at SBS, he is a consultant specialized in business-improvement and turnaround management, TQM and risk management, assisting corporations to overcome operational business-problems and to achieve sustainable high performance and profitability. He is engaged in Business Excellence assessment and improvement activities, serving the European Foundation for Quality Management- EFQM- and Swiss Business Excellence -SwissBEx- as lead assessor.

He hold a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des arts et Industries of Strasbourg (F) and an Executive MBA from SBS Swiss Business School in Zurich (CH).
