Thiago is a graduate student in the Department of Sociology. His research interests are in stratification and mobility as they pertain to neighborhoods and communities, housing markets, and property relations. He completed his undergraduate degree in Applied Psychology at New York University. A native Brazilian from New York, he spent 2011-2012 in the Bay Area working at a nonprofit agency that provides housing and social services to homeless, runaway, and at-risk youth.
