Biography
Future London Academy
Talia Cotton is a designer and coder who is an expert in the intersection of branding and technology. She is currently leading the design and development of data-driven and algorithmic brand identities at Pentagram with Michael Bierut and Giorgia Lupi, and teaches Advanced Interaction at Parsons School of Design. In 2019 she founded Intro to Coding for Designers, a workshop catered to boost the advancement of the study of code-as-design for the design community. Previously she led her own independent design & coding practice, working with clients such as Google and MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab, and led digital brand design and development at Champions Design (formerly OCD Agency). Recently, she was a main stage speaker at the 2021 International Google Visual Design Summit and a speaker at Design Museum Week 2022, and her work has been recognized by D&AD Awards and TDC Awards.
