Susanne Donovan

Susanne Feehery Donovan is an Assistant Director, Career Development at Villanova University. She also serves as the Liaison to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Office of Disability Services and Office of Learning Support Services. As an Adjunct Faculty member, she teaches various professional development topics including Professional Writing and Charting Your Course in Science. Currently Susanne works with undergraduates and alumni on all matters pertaining to careers such as choosing a path, resume writing, practice interviewing, graduate school preparation, etc. Starting her career counseling career with Villanova University in 2011 as a Graduate Assistant, Susanne has advised students of all majors and interests. Prior positions were in the corporate reinsurance and insurance sectors as an Assistant Vice President of Reliance Ceded Reinsurance and as an Assistant Manager of the Commercial Lines Department at Chubb and Son, Inc. While Susanne enjoyed time as a stay at home mom, she totally understands the challenges of switching gears in the professional market place. Her motto to all students/ clients is “You jump in where you jump in, learn the challenges and start swimming”. She attended Immaculata University, where she obtained a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and graduated from University of Delaware, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Minor in Biology.
