Amsterdam Institute of Finance
Susan Hansen has worked in financial services since 1980. She is a Chartered Accountant (Australia and South Africa) and has an MBA from the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business.
She worked for ‘a ‘Big Four’ Accounting firm for eight years in Cape Town and London, and then spent five years with a Wall Street Investment Bank.
Before establishing a financial training consultancy Susan was Chief Executive of Viaduct Harbour Holdings Limited, Auckland’s waterfront development. She regularly presents seminars for organizations throughout Australia, New Zealand and Europe that largely target managers from a non-financial background to help them understand the numbers and the financial tools that are available to assist decision making.
Susan is a non-executive Director of a ‘closed-end’ investment company, listed on the London Stock Exchange. She also chairs the audit committee of an Australian Listed Company and is a Director of a New Zealand Not for Profit.
Susan is the author of several books, including "Simply Finance”, sixth edition 2017.
