Dr. Susan M. Goobie, MD, FRCPC is Associate Professor of Anaesthesiology, Harvard Medical School and a Senior Associate with the Dept. of Anesthesiology, Critical Care & Pain Medicine, Boston Children's Hospital.
Dr Goobie is Executive Editor for Pediatric Anesthesia and Anesthesia & Analgesia, Executive Section Editor. Dr. Goobie is chair of Perioperative research in the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Perioperative Pain Medicine. Dr Goobie holds leaderhsip roles on many PBM and research committees inlcude the CAS, SPA, ASA and SABM, and IARS. She has published over 100 articles in the field and lectures nationally and internationally. Dr Goobie has proven success in the implementation of patient-centered care strategies through data analytics, decision-support systems, operational efficiencies, and process improvement measures to increase productivity and decrease costs. She collaborates with national and international researchers in the areas of pediatric anesthesia patient centered outcomes and patient blood management.
