UW Professional & Continuing Education

Stewart Meyer serves as Chief Marketing Officer for KUOW where he brings 20+ years’ experience in marketing, product management and strategy.

Stewart joined KUOW because its mission—“To create and serve a more informed public”—is important, now more than ever. He’s focused on promoting KUOW’s content and programming to engage new audiences.

Prior to joining KUOW, Stewart served as Director, Client Experience, for Arivale, where he was recruited by the Founder and CEO to launch the company and its cutting-edge wellness service. Prior to Arivale, Stewart led global marketing for Amazon Payments. Before that, he served as a digital thought-leader as Strategy Director with advertising agency Razorfish. His early career includes marketing for enterprise software company MicroStrategy and management consulting at Booz Allen & Hamilton.

Outside of KUOW, Stewart teaches “Principles of Marketing” as part of the University of Washington’s Professional & Continuing Education’s Certificate in Strategic Marketing. He also serves as an Associate Board member for the Pacific Science Center.

Stewart holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. He and his wife Erin and two boys live in Laurelhurst.
