The Wharton School

Steve graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2008 with a B.S. in Economics. After completing the nuclear officer training pipeline, he reported on board USS Connecticut (SSN 22), as Seawolf-class fast attack submarine in Bremerton, WA. While on Connecticut, Steve served in a variety of division officer positions and deployed to the Western Pacific and Arctic Oceans. Upon completing his sea tour, Steve was selected to be the Flag Aide to the Naval Inspector General, a 3-star Navy admiral in charge of investigating fraud, waste and mismanagement in the Navy. Steve transitioned from the military in 2014 by way of Goldman Sachs, where he was an intern in Securities Division and conducted market analysis on the digital currency industry. Steve is currently a full-time MBA Candidate at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Co-Founder of Wharton FinTech, the first student-led initiative dedicated to promoting and sharing ideas for financial technology innovation and investment.
