Professor Stephen Scully is an associate professor of classical studies and director of graduate studies who received his PhD in the subject from Brown University in 1978. He is currently teaching courses on Greek epics and the poet Homer. He is the former recipient of an Outstanding Academic Book Award in 1991-92 for his work, Homer and the Sacred City.
