Biography
Stanford Continuing Studies
Stephanie Chow negotiates complex commercial settlements for major tech clients including Apple, Facebook, and Google, along with high growth startups. She facilitates closure of business negotiations in situations in which a deal may be in jeopardy as a result of impasse on specific issues, or where time deadlines dictate accelerated negotiations.
Stephanie has successfully mediated hundreds of cases with settlements in the hundreds of millions.
Stephanie founded the Founder Advisory Program to provide founders with strategies and advice on how to navigate direct negotiations. She offers guidance on how to manage issues before they deteriorate into expensive distractions or become missed opportunities.
Previously, Stephanie worked on intellectual property matters in the legal department of Amazon Web Services. While in law school, Stephanie clerked at the United States Court of Appeals, Office of the Circuit Executive, Ninth Circuit, under Honorable Alex Kozinski.
She is a lecturer in the negotiation and conflict resolution program and also teaches mediation at Stanford University.
She is a member of the California, New York and Washington State Bar. Sheis recognized as a distinguished ADR professional by the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals and is among the 2.5% of attorneys selected to Rising Stars by Super Lawyers in Alternative Dispute Resolution since 2017.
