Dr Stanimira Milcheva is a Lecturer in Real Estate Finance and Economics at Henley Business School, University of Reading. Previously, she worked as a research and teaching assistant at the University of Regensburg and at the Centre for European Economic Research in Germany. Starting from a background in economics, she developed an interest in research cutting across financial economics and real estate. Stanimira's research areas include real estate investment and finance and financial economics. She has published in journals, such as the Journal of Banking and Finance, the Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, the Journal of Macroeconomics and has won research awards by the American Real Estate Society for best ‘out of the box thinking’ paper, Cushman and Wakefield best funded research output, and by the University of Reading Research Endowment Trust Fund.
