King’s Business School

Sotiris Vandoros is a Senior Lecturer in Health Economics at King’s College London, and an Adjunct Associate Professor at Harvard University. He holds a PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he also previously worked as a Postdoctoral Research Officer and a Research Fellow.

His fields of interest include health economics and behavioural science. In particular, his research focuses on the impact of economic conditions, shocks and uncertainty on health and health-related behaviours, and on regulation and competition in pharmaceutical markets. His research has been published in various journals, including Risk Analysis, Health Affairs, Experimental Economics, Health Economics, Social Science and Medicine, the American Journal of Public Health etc.

Sotiris has carried out research for national and international organisations and governments such as the WHO, the NHS, the European Commission and the European Parliament. He has taught on Master’s programmes at the LSE, Sorbonne-Cité and the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
