Simon Mullins leads and facilitates ESIX (esix.org), the world’s leading independent information source for corporate executive recruiting leaders, funded entirely by hiring organizations. Mullins has written two books: Leadership Recruiting: Strategy, Tactics and Tools for Hiring Organizations; and Leadership Recruiting: Consulting Skills for Recruiters. He frequently speaks at industry forums and is a workshop facilitator and media commentator.

Before ESIX, Mullins was senior director of staffing from Microsoft’s largest experienced staffing team. Before that, he led Microsoft’s executive recruiting team for more than eight years. The team became highly integrated with Microsoft’s succession planning process and was responsible for all external hiring of the company’s most impactful executives, including board directors. Prior to Microsoft, Mullins was a partner at Korn Ferry, working in both the Silicon Valley and Boston offices. He began his recruiting career in London and also worked in Hong Kong before coming to the U.S. Mullins holds an honors degree in economics and public administration from the University of London.
