Shuba Gopal is a data scientist by training with a passion for helping people thrive and excel in their work. She’s looking to answer the big “what if” – what might we accomplish if we could unleash all the untapped potential hidden in our workplaces? Shuba started her career in computational biology, after earning a PhD from the Rockefeller University. She was a faculty member at an undergraduate institution in upstate New York and then a computational biologist at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard in Cambridge, MA. It was at the Broad Institute that she discovered she could apply her data science skills to questions related to people, culture and adapting to change in agile ways. She’s used her skills to address questions around gender pay equity, engagement and inclusion. Her work has repeatedly demonstrated how investments in people translate into big business wins.
