Shruti Mantri

Chevening Cyber Security Fellow for the year 2017 and; a result oriented academician and scientific researcher with 18 years of experience in strategizing, designing, modeling and developing secure IT computing framework and solutions for scientific problems. Proven track record in risk analysis, vulnerability assessment, design, development and implementation of secure controls and network architecture.

Her areas of expertise are: Cyber security and forensics, Information Security Management, Information Security Audit, Cryptography, Internet Legislation, Information Integrity, Big Data Analytics, Game Theory, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

She is Currently serving as Assoc. Director, Applied Statistics and Computing Lab, Indian School of Business. She is currently working on two research projects in the field of data science and machine learning. Prior to ISB she served as Director, JSK-Business School and DES-IBM. She is also an Adjunct-Faculty with S.P. Jain Global Management. She has done her PG (Cyber Security and Information Assurance) from Cranfield University, UK; Doctorate in Philosophy (Computer Science), University of Mumbai; M.Phil. (Information Technology (Cyber Security and Internet Legislation)) and M.Sc. (Electronics and Telecommunication). She has also done her Post Graduation in Human Resource Management and Post Graduation in Computer Applications.

She has done specialized course in Game Theory from Stanford University. She is also done her IBM certification in Data Science. As a researcher, she has to her credit 26 research papers published in reputed International Journals with good Impact Factor, on the topics related to Information Technology, Management, Game Theory, ROSE ALGEBRA, Computational Sciences, Cyber Security, Cyber Forensic, Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Sciences, Robotics and Machine Intelligence. She has also presented several papers and worked as reviewer and organizing secretary for national and international conferences. She has also been Resource Person at many National and International Conferences. She has designed and developed syllabus and curriculum for M.Sc. in (Cyber Security and Forensics); System Security and Network security; Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Simulation and Modeling, University of Mumbai. She has guided over 100 projects for post graduate programmes including M.Sc. Computer Science and M.Sc. Information Technology. During her tenure in Kirti College she has conducted various workshops on Cyber security arranged for Anti-Terrorist Squad officers (Mumbai Police).

She is a member of Machine Intelligence Research Labs (USA), Internal Association of Computer Science and IT (IACSIT), Singapore, IEEE, Association of Women in Engineering (WIE), ACM, Indian Rough Society, and Higher Education Forum. She is the author of the book, “Emerging GIS Applications for Emergency and Disaster Management” and recipient of Distinguished Professor Award 2017 by Computer Society of India.
