Biography

Professor Sheldon Koufman uses humour, liveliness and empathy to create a teaching environment that encourages student success. He believes that setting high expectations while encouraging student mistakes bolsters student engagement.

Sheldon focuses on self-awareness and goal setting as key to a learner’s accomplishments. When a student knows what they value and where they want to go, they can take the correct action to get there.

In his spare time, Sheldon enjoys time with his four nephews and four-legged best friend – Goldie. He is an actor, gamer and cook.

Sheldon has an MSc (Queen’s Smith School of Business), MBA (Schulich School of Business), and BBA (Wilfrid Laurier University).
