Sharon Small has over 10 years of human resources and career management experience. She works with professionals on achieving the success they desire in their careers by strategically devising customized solutions that best meet their needs. Sharon is the owner of Empowering Success Career Coaching and Consulting offering career and executive coaching services to mid-senior level professionals. Empowering Success also provides trainings, human resources and organizational development consultation to businesses.
Sharon has worked with clients from diverse professional backgrounds including law, financial services, and education to name a few. Having worked in the public, private and nonprofit sectors; her experience runs the gamut, consisting of recruiting for a full range of positions for one of the nation’s top retailers, developing jobs for and marketing individuals from a developmentally disabled population and managing the staffing needs of a major insurance company.
She has advised C-Suite level executives and is a former Executive Committee Member of SEC Roughriders, Toastmasters International. Sharon is also a certified Five O’ Clock Club Career Coach and facilitates a weekly strategy group. Sharon holds a M.A. degree in Organizational Psychology from the Department of Organization and Leadership at Columbia University.
