Dr. Levine is a professor in the school of medicine and considered a leader in geriatric medical education. She runs an immersion training program in geriatrics for medical residents. Levine is the former winner of the Metcalf Cup, the University’s top teaching award as well as the Department of Medicine’s Robert Dawson Evans Special Recognition Teaching Award. In 2011 she was awarded The American Geriatrics Society’s Dennis W. Jahnigen Memorial Award, given annually to a member who has provided outstanding leadership in advancing geriatrics education in health professions schools.
