Hertie School of Governance

Sebastian Seidel is a doctoral Student at the Hertie School of Governance. His research focuses on organizational imprints, institutional demands, and civil society organizations. He previously worked as strategy consultant at Simon-Kucher & Partners in the life sciences division. He has also been a Visiting Student Researcher at the Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society, Stanford University and a participant of the CSIS Doctoral Fellows Programm 2017. His research is funded by the Friedrich-Naumann-Stiftung für die Freiheit. He holds degrees from Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster and Renmin University of China.
