Scott Rostan teaches investment banking and financial modeling courses at UNC Kenan-Flagler.

He is principal and founder of Training The Street (TTS), which provides state-of-the-art, courses in financial modeling and corporate valuation for finance professionals. Founded in 1999, TTS is the world’s leading financial learning services company offering targeted and customized training courses to corporate and educational clients.

Professor Rostan began his professional career with Merrill Lynch''s mergers and acquisitions group in New York in 1995. As an M&A generalist, his transaction exposure included a broad range of industries and clients. In 1997, he became involved with Merrill Lynch''s investment banking training program. After a summer as a teaching assistant, he became the lead instructor and content administrator for the analyst M&A valuation training and later the lead instructor, content administrator and manager for both Merrill Lynch''s analyst and associate investment banking training programs. 

From 1997-99, Professor Rostan served as a high school teacher at The Field School in Washington, D.C., where he taught various subjects and coached multiple sports teams.
