Scott is an expert in organizational project management (OPM) and has over 25 years extensive experience in helping organizations develop and improve project management capabilities. Scott is a subject matter expert in organizational project management (OPM) and has over 25 years of extensive experience in helping organizations develop and improve management capabilities. He helps federal government and commercial clients improve their ability to delivery mission critical capabilities through projects, programs, and portfolios. Using program management offices (PMOs), he implements processes and practices, acquires resources, and builds staff skills to support mission requirements. In the past, he has worked with large international companies in various industries to assess the effectiveness of project management capabilities and implement cost-effective and beneficial improvements. He has managed complex information technology development and implementation projects. Early in his career, he managed large, international technical projects dealing with nuclear material control and accountability. Scott has a MBA from Virginia Tech and is a PMI® certified PMP® and RMP®, and was one of the first to obtain the OPM3® Certified Professional.
