Biography

Future London Academy

After graduating University of the Arts, and interning at the likes of Mother, Anomaly and JWT, the internet was really coming into its own for advertising. It was direct marketing on acid. Who doesn’t want that? So, I joined AnalogFolk and had the best 4 years honing my craft and delving deep into what people want from their brand interactions online.

I got itchy feet and moved to the heady heights of AMV XLAB, the innovation, experience and content hub of AMV London. After a year of being sent to Rome and LA to make the worlds most elaborate gifs, I realised I needed more purpose in my day job, so I Co-Founded a nonprofit (that ended up launching in 4 cities and raises hundreds of thousands for homeless people - more on that here.) and joined the UK’s first B Corp agency, 18 Feet and Rising - I felt like I’d made it.

Then I got made redundant. It worked out because I found Revolt London, where (3 years later) I now call home. It’s another B Corp, we make meaningful work which is channel agnostic giving more the most creative freedom I’ve had in this industry whilst genuinely making a difference in the world.

In my time in this industry I’ve achieved more than I had ever hoped in my entire career. Front page of Campaign Mag, Main Stage at Cannes, TEDx Talk, awarded by The Guardian, been on BBC Prime Time News (my nan saw it and rang me screaming), I’ve blogged for the Huffington Post, been flown to Rome, L.A, NYC, Mumbai, won a pencil. If you can’t tell, I’m pretty all-in and I’m excited to see where this industry takes me from here.
