Biography

Fordham University

I have worked in the field of social services for the past 20-plus years. My interests and expertise focus on the implementation of trauma-focused, evidence-based practices for children and families who have been impacted by trauma. I am nationally certified in Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT) and have also been trained in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Alternatives for Families CBT (AF-CBT), and Trauma Systems Therapy. In addition to implementing specific treatment my work also focuses on broader systems change efforts across child-serving systems to infuse trauma-informed practices. I draw on implementation science to guide system-change efforts to improve the lives and well-being of children and families.
