Biography

ESMT

Sarah joined ESMT as Program Director in the Executive Education team in August 2023. She currently leads one of ESMT’s open enrolment flagship programs, the Executive Transition Program, and supports various customized programs.

She previously held various leadership roles in functions such as clinical, data science, and regulatory affairs at Medtronic, the largest medical device company in the world. Over the years, with her global teams, she managed various large organizational transformation initiatives, such as reorganizations or the creation of shared service centers. She was also responsible for creating and driving ecosystem partnerships with hospitals, the FDA, and university representatives to support the industry’s transformation towards value-based healthcare. During her almost 12 years with Medtronic, she was based in the US at Medtronic’s operational headquarters for six years; before and after she worked out of the Netherlands.

As a program director at ESMT, Sarah contributes her passion for grounded presence and leadership in uncertain times. She aims to inspire others to make a meaningful difference in this world by leading with her bold mind and courageous heart.

Sarah has an international background in social sciences and strategic management. She holds a PhD from Maastricht University and a triple-accredited MA in Management from Bradford School of Management, EADA and Audencia Nantes.

She is also a certified co-active coach and organization design professional.
