Sarah Browne is an Assistant Professor of Marketing and Strategy in Trinity Business School, and is Programme Director for the MSc. Marketing in Trinity Business School. She completed her PhD in the Dublin Institute of Technology, College of Business. She has lectured on undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education level programmes, teaching modules on marketing and society, ethical marketing practice in a digital world, consumer behaviour and business research methods.

Her research interests have recently focused on strategic social marketing, and on the interrelationship between ethics and marketing practice. Ongoing research projects include consumption and risk perception, consumer data privacy, and strategic social marketing. Her work has been published in the Journal of Marketing Management, Journal of Business Strategy and Irish Marketing Review. Her co-authored paper on apocalyptic preparation practices, risk and consumption, was recently awarded the prestigious accolade of Most Innovative Paper at the 2018 Academy of Marketing Conference. She has also worked on bespoke market and consumer research projects for major clients in the airline and hospitality industries in Ireland.
