Biography
Zicklin School of Business
Dr. Ryoo is a lecturer at the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College, City University of New York. She completed her Ph.D. in Strategy at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan in 2018. Prior to joining the Zicklin faculty, Dr. Ryoo was an assistant professor of strategy at the School of Management at Binghamton University.
Her research includes theoretical development in the areas of knowledge management and organizational learning supported by empirical studies using M&A data from the U.S. banking industry and patent data from the pharmaceutical industry. Her dissertation received the SRF Dissertation Research Grant in 2016 and her recent work has been featured in international news articles as she received the South Korean Maekyung Young Scholar Award in 2021. Currently, she teaches Business Policy in the undergraduate program at Baruch College.
