Raj Rajagopalan's research covers capacity and technology acquisition, supply chain management, and product variety. He has published in journals such as Management Science, Production and Operations Management, and Operations Research. He served as a Department Editor at IIE Transactions and as Associate Editor at Management Science and Operations Research. At Marshall, he was Chair of the IOM Department from 2000-04 and the Founding Academic Director of the MS program and Center for Global Supply Chain Management. He has taught courses in operations and supply chain management in various MBA programs. He has consulted for Johnson and Johnson, Fidelity Investments, and Hewlett Packard.
