Indian Institute of Management Lucknow

Samir K Srivastava is a Professor at IIML. He has over three decades of experience in research, teaching, consulting and industry. He worked in various positions in industry (AV Birla Group) in technical as well as management roles. He was an internal facilitator for TPM implementation at Indo Gulf Corporation leading it to win the TPM Excellence Award from JIPM Japan in the year 2000. He co-founded South Asia's first public procurement observatory (http://www.procurementobservatoryup.com). He has been a member of TPM Club of India, National Agricultural Innovation Project (Research on Production to Consumption Systems) and Sub-committee for Manufacturing Competitiveness (CII). He has published many research papers and co-authored two books. He serves on the Editorial Board of several International Journals and is an active referee for many journals of repute. His biographic profile appears in Marquis Who’s Who 2014 and Marquis Who’s Who 30th Pearl Anniversary Editions. He figures among the top 2% scientists in the world based on career-long impact in the database created by US-based Stanford University.

Prof. Samir is a leading researcher in the areas of green and sustainable supply chains, public procurement, and reverse logistics. His work has more than thirteen thousand citations in Google Scholar with a g-Index of 114, about three thousand two hundred citations in Scopus with an H-Index of 11 and more than two thousand citations in Publons. He serves on the Editorial Board of several International Journals. Based on career-long impact, he figures among the top 2% scientists in the world in the database created by US-based Stanford University.
