Research interests
I joined the School of Management at University of Bath in October 2017 as a Senior Lecturer in Finance.I have previously held positions at Bangor University (Senior Lecturer in Banking and Finance) and Goethe University Frankfurt (Research Fellow). I also hold visiting positions at Bank of Finland, Helsinki and House of Finance, Goethe University Frankfurt.
My research focuses on empirical money & banking and asset pricing. Recently, I have been working on various research projects in the area of monetary policy and financial uncertainty, including negative interest rate policy (NIRP), financial crisis and funding & market liquidity risk. My research work has been published in the Review of Finance, the European Financial Management, the Journal of Financial Services Research, and the International Review of Financial Analysis.

I am interested in receiving PhD queries from students with research interests in empirical financial studies and who have a strong quantitative background.
