My research focus is on the ways Information and Communication Technology (ICT) transforms the public sector. In particular, I focus on the changes introduced by ICT (including social media, mobile applications, big data and open data) in the relationships between citizens and government. This includes not only the changes in service provision (e-government), but also issue of citizen participation in public decision-making (e-democracy and e-participation).
