Biography
Rolf Zwaan is Professor of Biological and Cognitive Psychology in the Department of Psychology at Erasmus University. Between 1994 and 2007, he was a professor at Florida State University. He received his PhD from Utrecht University. He has over 125 publications to his name. He is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association. His research has been funded by the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health in the United States and is currently being funded by the Dutch Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) and the European Science Foundation. Between 2010-2014 Rolf Zwaan was Editor-in-Chief of Acta Psychologica. He has just been appointed as Senior Editor of Collabra a new open-access science journal to be published by the University of California press. He writes monthly columns for De Psycholoog, maintains a wildely-read blog at https://rolfzwaan.blogspot.com/, and is active on Twitter, @RolfZwaan.
