Profile Roberts W. Brokaw III has over four decades of investment banking experience. Prior to his relocation to Delaware in 2002, he was based in New York City, most recently as Senior Managing Director, Structured Products Group, at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. His responsibilities included the design and execution of a wide variety of transactions in the contexts of debt, equity, mergers and strategic restructurings. Prior to Bear Stearns, he was a Managing Director and head of the Corporate Finance Group at PaineWebber Incorporated, where his responsibilities included origination and structuring of all equity-linked securities financings. At PaineWebber he was head of the Product Development Committee and a member of the Promotion and Commitment Committees. Earlier, he performed similar duties as a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch. In the first part of his career at Merrill and predecessor firm White, Weld & Co., he specialized in transactions for the transportation and utility industries. Rob Brokaw received an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School; and was jointly awarded BA and MA degrees in Economics from Yale University, with high honors in his major, magna cum laude. He has been an Adjunct Professor of Finance in New York University’s MBA program and a Senior Professional Fellow at NYU’s Center for Law and Business.
