Robert Myrtle is the former Director of the Executive Master of Leadership programs and Prof. Emeritus of Public Administration in the Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California. His key research interests are leadership, executive development, and organizational and management effectiveness. His current projects include the influence of managers’ behaviors on perceptions of overall leadership effectiveness, factors influencing the performance of surgical teams; the analysis of the influence of job change on career growth and progression; and the assessment of the factors influencing organizational legitimacy during and following major natural disasters.
