Rob Prowse is an Adjunct Professor of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources in the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. He received his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Wilfrid Laurier University. During his graduate studies, he was a Research Assistant studying the impact of change on employees in large-scale technology implementations and broad organizational restructuring. Rob completed thesis work in this domain and continues to teach and consult in the area of organizational change. Rob was permanent parttime faculty at Wilfrid Laurier University’s School of Business & Economics prior to relocating to Vancouver. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Ottawa with concentration in Organizational Behaviour, Finance and International Business. In addition to his academic endeavours, Rob works with local, national and global organizations through his consulting practice (R. Prowse & Associates). Earlier in his career, he was a Senior Consultant with Hay Management Consultants (www.haygroup.com) in Toronto. Rob's 15-year independent consulting practice based in Vancouver is focused on advising clients on organizational effectiveness and efficiency strategies (organizational structure/design, business and human resources strategy, and organizational change) and people development strategies (leadership, coaching, performance management, and recruitment and selection systems).
