Dr. Riten Kumar is the clinical director of the Thrombosis and Anticoagulation Program at Dana-Farber/Boston Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Center. Dr. Kumar received his medical degree from Calcutta Medical College in India. He then completed his pediatric residency at State University of New York. He finished his pediatric hematology-oncology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota while also receiving his Master's in Clinical and Translational Science from the Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education. In 2013, he completed a second fellowship in Pediatric Thrombosis and Hemostasis at the Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto in Canada.
