Risto Sarvas lives a triple-life as a designer, lecturer, and researcher. The common denominator between these three roles is his endless enthusiasm to figure out how technology and society are intertwined: as a culture, in politics, in business, as well as in everyday life.

Risto runs courses in Aalto University on service design and social media also he was the co-director of Futurice’s training business. His research, teaching, and service design work have received several awards and much popularity.

Strategic Design Lead in variety of innovation projects ranging from the Energy Sector to Museum experiences. Coaching and mentoring large companies, startups and students in Helsinki, Berlin, London and Tokyo. Popular speaker and author.

Risto Sarvas holds a doctorate from Helsinki University of Technology in Media Technology.
