Texas A&M University

Rich Metters is the Paul W. and Rosalie Robertson Chair in Business at the Mays Business School, Texas A&M University and head of the Information and Operations Management Department. He holds a PhD from the Kenan-Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina, an MBA from Duke University and a BA from Stanford University. He has also worked at Emory University, Vanderbilt University, Southern Methodist University, Bank of America, CitiBank, and Crocker Bank. He has previously published over 50 academic articles and is the principal author of the textbook Successful Service Operations Management. In his research, he has worked with Kroger, Blockbuster Video, the US Postal Service, Lincoln Electric Motors, American Airlines, and many other firms.
