Prof. René Sacasas Professor Emeritus of Business Law, Chair of Business Law Department for 25 years, Vice Chair of Faculty Senate, and 1st University-wide Faculty Ombudsperson at the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida. J.D. (Emory University) 1975. International banker; Member of Florida Bar for over 40 years. Specialist in legal aspects of international finance, real estate development, and lawyer/management relations. Extensive experience in representing international investors in U.S. Winner of several School of Business Administration Teaching Excellence Awards and the recipient of the 2015 James W.
