Biography

Rehan is an experienced leader with 20 years in Strategic Land, Public Policy, Infrastructure and Development. Previously a banker with a 30-year engagement with the City of London undertaking Sovereign Treasury Funds, Corporate Lending, Strategy & Alliances Research, and Human Capital Development roles.

Experienced in development, (including financing a major residential development and West End, London refurbishment schemes), providing evidence (to 28 Public Consultations and Examinations), and supporting nationally important strategic infrastructure (including a STG 250 million HM Treasury funded solution for Operation Stack M20)

Currently promoting a Development Corporation enabling Housing, Commercial, Employment, Infrastructure and a Road-Rail Container Freight Interchange in Ashford, Kent, SE England within the overall Ashford Growth Area development targets of 31,000 homes and 28,000 employment / commercial.

Rehan has a long association with Kent as his Father was an Acute Surgeon (FRCS) there and Rehan attended Sir Joseph Williamson’s Grammar School in Rochester, Kent. Rehan’s university education includes a Joint Humanities degree from Exeter, an MBA from Henley and a Ph.D. from Loughborough.
