Georgia Tech Professional Education

Raymond J. Warner is a Senior Researcher for the Georgia Tech Research Institute. Previous to joining GTRI, he worked at Walt Disney Imagineering where he was the lead mechanical engineer for numerous attractions. Most substantially, he was the lead mechanical engineer for the recently opened Flight of Passage attraction in Orlando, FL where he not only led the mechanical design team, but wrote and executed the entire mechanical test and evaluation program. He has over 10 years of experience with experimental testing of various complex mechanical systems and how real world results relate to theoretical analyses. Currently he is serving as task lead for a variety of research projects at GTRI ranging from novel sensing platforms to GTRI’s satellite program. He has a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, CA.
