Biography

Western Ontario University

His main research interest is in the area of knowledge management. To date, he has co-authored and/or edited articles on knowledge management and teleworking, the use of information and communication technology (ICT) as a way of sharing medical knowledge to remote locations, and knowledge management issues in the healthcare field in Canada. His dissertation research is looking at one aspect of knowledge management, knowledge transfer, in the context of interdisciplinary healthcare teams. The goal is to identify the main soft (non-technical) issues that can enable or inhibit knowledge transfer in this setting. The findings can then be tested in other areas within healthcare as well as in other interdisciplinary team settings.
