Ramesh Rajagopalan

Dr. Ramesh Rajagopalan is a seasoned leader with a unique blend of experience in corporate leadership and academic excellence. He has over 30 years of industry experience in leading large teams and delivering customer value in the areas of Business Analytics, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Enterprise Supply Chain Solutions, Sales, Marketing, and Business Strategy. He is the Founder and CEO of SetCONNECT with a mission to build and deliver a curriculum and a learning environment that offers students access to globally competitive programs and provide them a pathway to becoming global technology leaders. SetCONNECT is currently building partnerships with institutions across the globe to deliver programs in business analytics and data science. Dr. Rajagopalan has served as a senior member of the faculty at the UT Austin McCombs School of Business; Associate Director of Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program. He also has the distinction of receiving the honor to serve as a Tenured faculty at the Mercer University School of Engineering. Dr. Rajagopalan is driven by his passion for industry-university collaboration. In his role with the MSBA program at UT McCombs, he was privileged to work with executives from over 25 companies striving to drive business value through analytics. In his most recent corporate role, he led a global marketing analytics team at Dell. Under his direction, his team implemented advanced analytics solutions leveraging “big data” to predict, classify, and target high-value customers. His team delivered several hundred million $ revenue impact to the organization. In supply chain analytics roles at Dell and at the employers prior to Dell including SmartOps (now SAP), Deloitte, IBM, and i2 Technologies (now JDA), Ramesh led diverse global teams to implement innovative enterprise supply chain analytics solutions. He was responsible for delivering multi-million $ cost savings at several Global 100 companies. Dr. Rajagopalan is an internationally recognized speaker and industry expert in Advanced Analytics, Customer Insights, Supply Chain Strategy and Solutions, Social & Digital Strategy.
